This document has been designed to help applicants for European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) monies to understand and consider the environmental sustainability impacts of their project early on in the project development stage.

In addition to bringing significant added value to projects, this document will also support project applicants in addressing the Sustainable Development crosscutting theme as part of the ERDF application process.
